Adv. Meori Ampeli is a member of the Israel Bar since 2005 and a certified public accountant and member of the Institute of CPAs since 2004. He’s also a member of various Israel Bar and Institute of CPAs tax committees. He obtained his LL.B. in Law (2002), B.A. in Accounting (2001), and LL.M. in Commercial Law (2005) from Tel Aviv University.

Meori has submitted hundreds of professional legal opinions, tax objections and appeals in various tax fields. He has major experience and skill appearing before the tax authorities, filing applications and receiving pre-rulings, as well as in tax consultancy in international and Israeli taxation and Voluntary Disclosure Procedure. Furthermore, Meori assists many foreign residents, individuals and companies wishing to take part in the developed Israeli economy on how to better understand their specific tax benefits and risks in Israel.

Meori has authored hundreds of articles on tax matters in leading professional tax magazines and periodicals in Israel. He also regularly lectures in professional forums for lawyers, accountants, high-net-worth individuals, businesspeople and tax consultants.

Andreas Varianos is the Managing Director of AsusPlus, a boutique audit and assurance services provider based in Nicosia, Cyprus. Prior to AsusPlus, Andreas served as Director of InterTaxAudit in Nicosia and Senior Auditor for KMPG’s office in Larnaca.

Andreas is also a member of several professional organizations in Europe. He holds a Practicing Certificate in Auditing in Cyprus and Malta, and a Public Accountant Warrant in Malta. Plus, he is a member of both the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) and the Malta Institute of Accountants (MIA).

He received a BsC in Business Administration (Accounting and Finance) from the American College of Greece and is a qualified member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the UK.

Marina Warwick practices as an Isle of Man advocate, English solicitor and Russian lawyer, specializing in international trade law and private international law.

Before immigrating to the Isle of Man and becoming the first Russian lawyer with her qualifications and experience to be admitted as a Manx advocate, Marina practiced law in Moscow for seven years, mostly with international law firms, including Gide Loyrette Nouel and Freshfields. She also worked closely with a leading international arbitrator at Mannheimer Swartling on cases heard in the London Court of International Arbitration and the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, where she acted, in particular, for space industry clients.

Prior to setting up her own practice on the island, first as a founding member and director of Alma Legal Limited and then independently, Marina trained with Simcocks Advocates and worked with a leading international law firm, Appleby, in the Isle of Man since 2007.

Her practice focuses on company and commercial law and the areas of her master’s degree from the London School of Economics: international tax, intellectual property and Internet law. Furthermore, Marina advises on matters of English, EU, Isle of Man and Russian law arising in the structuring of international groups and trusts with a view to ensuring investment and asset protection, regulatory compliance, privacy, tax efficiency and isolation of risks.

Vasiliki Petrou is a Corporate Lawyer at Meridian Trust - Corporate & Fiduciary Services located in Larnaca, Cyprus. Vasiliki manages a portfolio of corporate clients with her main responsibilities being drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements and documentation, handling and concluding commercial dealings, advising clients regarding the Cyprus Citizenship by Investment program, including but not limited to the required financial criteria and conditions, application procedures, investment options, and preparation and submission of all required documents.

Vasiliki graduated from the University of Leicester in the UK in 2010 where she obtained an LLB Law degree. The following year, Vasiliki acquired a postgraduate degree (LLM) in International Business and Commercial Law with a specialization in Corporate Governance and European Takeover Bids from the University of Manchester, UK. In 2012, Vasiliki was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association, having successfully passed her Cyprus Bar exams and has been practising law since then. Vasiliki recently received another postgraduate degree (MSc) in Business Management with a specialization in Strategic Corporate Social Responsibility from the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM).
