An Israeli Tax reminder regarding new immigrant (to Israel):

Further to the recent events in the world, and especially the great increase in anti-Semitism in Europe, the main question regarding immigration ("Oleh") and Senior Returning Resident status (a "Senior Returning Resident" –  is an Israeli citizen who has lived abroad for at least 10 years) is at issue again. For your convenience, the main tax benefits for new immigrants and returning residents are as follows:

  1. 10 years exemption from tax on foreign sourced income (e.g. capital gains, dividends, interest, rent etc.).
  2. 10 years exemption from declaring foreign sourced income which is exempted (as described in section A above).
